And HUAWEI, a major supplier of equipment used in 5G networks, has been subject to successive packages of US export restrictions since 2019.

These restrictions prevented Huawei from having both chips produced by US companies and US technologies that help them design their own chips and have them manufactured by partners.

Last year, the Biden administration also banned the sale of new Huawei equipment in the United States.

He said the company has been building its enterprise resource planning system, which it called Meta ERP, which is due to launch in April and will help manage core business functions including finance, supply chain and manufacturing operations.
