Will Jamie Dornan Don The Legendary 007 Tuxedo Soon? Briton has discussed the possibility of becoming the next James Bond, the coveted role previously played by Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.
The 39-year-old actor specifically spoke about his longtime friend Robert Pattinson’s choice to play Batman. He admits he was a little apprehensive about taking on such an iconic role and dealing with all the negativity that comes with it. “Prejudice is a dangerous disease. In all our culture, in my work of course. But in general, people are prejudiced about anything, and that’s unfortunate. The ‘Belfast’ star also spoke about Daniel Craig’s latest spy flick. “There were 100% negative comments. The writing was offensive. It was very distressing to see people’s toxic anger at decision-making. And then guess what? Daniel Craig is brilliant and he changes all of Bond’s energy,” he said.

Controversial role
Despite everything, for the actor, there is a kind of happiness to be chosen as the next James Bond. “It’s exciting and flattering to be among the nominees (…) If you look at the list of actors in the running, they all have projects that are doing well at the moment,” he admitted. The organizers should announce the name of the lucky winner soon. Idris Elba is among the comedians being suggested, and Dwayne Johnson has expressed interest in the role.
