In the August edition of Ifop’s popular Journal du Dimanche, Emmanuel Macron’s polls have been stable since last month, but confirm the decline recorded since his re-election. With 37% of French people satisfied (-1 point compared to the previous month), the current President of the Republic recorded a drop of 4 points since his re-election (41% in May 2022).
The Prime Minister, for his part, saw his popularity increase with the French this month, gaining three points in one month (41%). Elisabeth Borne has satisfied the French majority since June (+4 points), never returning to the level she reached when she was elected to office (45% in May 2022).
