Anderlecht’s young shooters produced a clean copy against a Deinze who, logically, will rise above the match on a physical level.
The RSCA Futures made their jubilant entry into D1B this Sunday evening, hours after their seniors triumphed on the lawn of Saint-Trond. A first match in the form of a big test against an ambitious Deinze and in a logically quite empty Lotto Park. But given the rather pleasant spectacle, we wouldn’t be surprised if the young Mauves draw intrigue throughout the season.
Technically on top, Anderlecht sometimes shows a little simplicity; A one-two between De Belder and Kone at the back saw the former miss the inevitable (16th) at Eupen and at the front when Lucas Stasin After a good serve from Kolasin (23′) Ortola takes the field at close range. The future is not deserved and some experience, like Antoine Kolasin but Theo Leoni, who is already 22 years old, looks good, feels.
The most experienced of the lot, however, is fine David Hubert (34 years old), starting holder when his arrival was only made official this weekend. The second half also starts again with the acceleration of the Ecuadorian who drops everyone and gets a free kick which Kolasin delivers beautifully. Ortola has yet to intervene, and is so far the only goalkeeper to do so (49th). Dinze counters, but smashes Dansoko’s head.
During the meeting, however, the bodies and engines of the Dinje players will prevail. Anderlecht’s youngsters no longer nose out the window, the power of a Dansoko torments them: Guinea unrolls and serves. Gellert van Landschoot, which does not fit (74th). Deep in the half of the field for the final quarter of an hour, Futures would shake off a superb strike from Mamadou Kone that rattled the bar (84th). Stassin, on the counter, almost offered a nice lob. Nk did well in the last ten minutes to close the gap until losing a dangerous ball (90th). Regardless of the result, and the young Mauves put up a good point for their D1B debut.
