He expressed the team’s gratitude for the support of the Shibarium community and their readiness to embark on an exciting journey together.
Calling 2024 another year for surpassing boundaries and creating memories, DaVinci encouraged the SHIB army to make the new year epic. He urged them to contribute to making it unforgettable.
Shibburn, a crypto wallet tracker, also shared news with the Shiba Inu community. They revealed that an astonishing 76,403,022,296 SHIB meme tokens were transferred to non-spendable blockchain addresses throughout 2023. During this period, a total of 129,716,497 Shiba Inu tokens were destroyed in the “Dead Wallets.”
Regarding recent burning progress, there has been a significant increase in the burning rate of SHIB tokens. This was primarily accomplished through a few transactions, burning 50,422,597, 66,339,884, and 3,507,765 SHIB tokens.
In addition, the Shiba Inu development team participated in burning events from November to December of the previous year. They transferred over 36 billion Shiba Inu tokens to non-spendable addresses. Each of the four transactions burned approximately 8.5 billion SHIB tokens.
The SHIB burned by the team came from transaction fees on Shibarium, which were initially designated in BONE tokens but converted and subsequently burned as SHIB tokens.
